Client New Employee Orientation for a Roofing Company

Executive Summary This project addressed the need to introduce the parts of a house and how they work together within the roofing systems.  This will give the new employees a background into roofing to help perform their job more affectively. 

Challenge The new employees come in with various experiences with roofing.  Some come in with no knowledge at all.  We need to engage each learner through presentation and various levels of knowledge.

Solution To address these challenges, I created an engaging presentation with illustrations and diagrams of important roofing terms.  I also had the learner apply their knowledge in a Bingo game.

Project Title Implementing Six Sigma into project Management

Executive Summary This project addressed the need for implementing Six Sigma into the project management framework of the company.  While building on skills employees already have.

Challenge The company wanted to implement six sigma into their project management framework.  However, they had employees with different skill levels.

Solution To address this I created the introduction to explain six sigma and its importance before implementing tools the company had in place for project management.

Executive Summary The purpose is to understand the basics of time management and how Trello can enhance productivity. Trello is a time management tool that helps organize tasks on a visual board using lists and cards. Each board represents a project.  Users can assign tasks, set due dates, attach files, and track progress. 

Challenge Trello is useful for personal and team projects, task management, and collaboration in real-time. Its user-friendly, drag-and-drop interface allows for flexible organization and clear visibility of project status.  

Solution Learn how to structure Trello boards for effective time management.

• How to create a personal task management board

• Example board structures:

  • Basic: To Do, Doing, Done

  • Project-based: Planning, Active work, Review, and Completion

Client Parents at Indiana Connections Academy

Executive Summary This project addressed the need for what parent buy in to support the reading curriculum being implemented.  It provided data, research, and how parents can help during a zoom weekly Live Lesson.

Challenge The training parents on how to help their student during a zoom Live Lesson.  Why teachers need them next to the students to help with making sure the student is producing and writing the correct letter sounds.

Solution To address these challenges, I developed an interactive instructor lead training for the parents. The instructor led training incorporates real-life pictures with descriptions of the what the expectations are for each step.  I dug deep into each step to share what the parents can do to help.
